Farm Shop & Deli Show returning to the NEC

Good Morning Cheesy1’s,

Last year some of you may remember I attended a Food & Drink expo at the NEC, well they have decided to pluck the Farm shop & Deli show out of it and run it separately for 2015 at the NEC. I’m planning on visiting this year and it’s meant to be 100% bigger than 2014 with masterclasses in a theatre and more exhibitors too. It’s running from the 20th-22nd April and will host innovations in product & machinery for 2015. There are going to be 400 exhibitors from olives to packaging, crips to chocolate and of course cheese. I’m looking forward to hopefully bumping into Juliet Harbutt and Michael Lee who I met last year.

The show opens at 10am until 5pm over the three days and is a trade show so if you’re interested in attending then register through this link and its completely free! I found a brilliant help to get connected to people & products that I wouldn’t have necessarily got to meet unless I attended this show.

The official press release for the event is as follows:

“NEWS UPDATE: Farm Shop & Deli Show 2015 – now set to be 100% Bigger than 2014

Due to exceptional demand this year’s Farm Shop & Deli Show is expanding ( It is now set to be the biggest show yet with a 100% increase in exhibitors compared to 2014.

The exhibition will now see over 400 speciality food suppliers promote their products to potential stockists, from Monday 20 April through to Wednesday 22 April 2015.

Jack Halliday, event director, says: “Since starting the Farm Shop & Deli Show we’ve increased the number of exhibitors year on year but the overwhelming appetite and increase in numbers for 2015 has been unprecedented. Having to increase our floorplan at this time is a hugely positive reflection on the strength, not only of the show but of the sector.”

“With the wide range of producers who will be showing, Farm Shop & Deli Show is now seen as THE ‘go to’ show for this sector of traditional and speciality retail products. It’s set to be our most successful show to date.”

Exhibitors already confirmed range from artisan jam makers, crisp producers and bakers through to soft drinks and tea manufacturers. They include established names as well as new companies looking to gain listings for their innovative and original food and drink products.

In addition, the show will be growing its machinery, packaging and equipment offering along with services through to knives, furniture and flooring.

As well as the exhibitors the show will also host the Farm Shop & Deli Live area where an exciting and comprehensive programme of demonstrations, live debates and tastings will be hosted. All of the activities are focused on helping retailers improve their bottom line.

The Farm Shop & Deli Live will also incorporate the Dragon’s Pantry and the announcement of the overall winner of the Farm Shop & Deli Awards 2015.

Farm Shop & Deli Show runs from Monday 20 April through to Wednesday 22 April 2015 and visitors can register free at
