Another fantastic beer & cheese evening at the @vibrantforest last night. It is always a great vibe and a relaxed atmosphere. Ryan & I are always on hand with our expertise and love seeing your reactions to the pairings. Last night I featured @croomecuisine Black Truffle, @thebookandbucketcheesecompany Ismay Brie, @oxfordcheeseco Oxford Blue, @barberscheesemakers Extra Mature Cheddar and @lyburncheese Old Winchester. All deliciously paired with a selection of Vibrant beers. Keep a look out for our next event!

It's Easter and I fancied some cheese, unsurprisingly! This has been on my list to try so I got some from @wyke_farms this week to enjoy over the weekend. It's the Ivy's secret recipe vintage reserve cheddar and I'm very much looking forward to it.

Such a hard days work today with @vibrantforest pairing beer & cheese for the next evening coming up soon. I suppose somebody has got to do it, right?

It's market day on Hythe so I'm outside enjoying this beautiful weather and selling some wonderful cheese.

I'm loving the Rotwein Sennechäs (Red Wine Farmer) this week at @harveyshythe. A 6 month old semi-hard cheese matured in red wine. It has a creamy, sweet & slightly fruity note with a pungency on the rind. If you love Swiss cheeses this one from @affineur_walo is a must try!
