Good Morning Readers,
This week I’m bringing you a little look into the upcoming Romsey Food Festival 2014 which will be held in Romsey town centre on Sunday 7th September from 10am-3pm. I will be attending so I will bring you a full review on what it was like after I attend. It will have many stores with lots of local food businesses and it also includes The Gourmet Grilled Cheese Company which I featured on my blog last week. There is also entertainment on the day as well but it is best described through this paragraph from the Romsey Food Festival website “Romsey town centre will be bursting with local produce on Sunday 7th September 2014 with its annual Food Festival between 10am – 3pm. This fantastic day out for all the family is a recipe of delight, Romsey is bustling with over 50 local stalls full of Hampshire Fare. Take an abundance of local produce available at Hampshire Farmers’ Market in Alma Road and all over the town. Stir in cooking demonstrations in the Corn Market. Sprinkle some light music from Retro Swing in the White Horse Courtyard, add family fun with Kidsrome Farm, & tractors, Jake’s Circus Act, face painting, cake decorating and lots more activities and you have a recipe for a great day out.”
From that description it sounds like its going to be a fun day filled with lots of delicious foods to try and I’m going to be there to have a look around, so if you would like to meet me then please e-mail me. I’m very much looking forward to trying a Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich and I’m hoping that there is good weather for the day also!
So join in the foodie fun and come along for a day out!
Jon
